Bob'd beds! Post up pics!

Ive got an 87 xtra cab long bed....needless to say this thing is stupid long! So Im thinking of bobbing the bed now Ive done this before on an 85 toyota but this things got 2 tanks so Im trying to figure that out.

So post your pics!

Shortest I've cut the fullsize is just behind the rear spring hangers. All I did was move the gas tank forward in the frame rails. I didn't have any axle to tank issues at all.

you also had the truck setting on 44's...


in my opinion if you hack it off itll look stupid but thats just my opinion of course

But at the end it only had 4 inches of lift in it…

true you didnt have a BGLT truck setting 12" over the tires

After looking under the bed I dont think im gonna be able to bob too much for it to be worth, on my toyota I was able to bob 15" off on this one it looks like Ill only be able to do 5".
