Find another dealer that does not have the peanut gallery working the parts counter.

NOt a problem duckhunter. I added the IBC to my 2009 f150 after I bought it. You can install it yourself, but dealership must reflash the computer to activate it. That is my Screw and RV in the picture.

It is an Open Range RF287RL, with a dry wt. of about 7500# 30' long. I've towed it all over Texas including the Mountains of West Texas.

Nice trailer! That is something I would like to own one of these days...especially a 5th wheel trailer. Are you towing with a 5.0L or an Ecoboost?...How does your truck handle towing something that heavy? Do you have the max payload? Do you have a slider hitch for the trailer?

My truck is 2009, so I have the 5.4L engine with max tow, 3.73 LS rear end and 6.5' bed. Yes I have a reese slider hitch for those 90 degree back ins. My truck handles the 5ver like a champ. This is my first fifth wheel after having 3 bumper pull trailers, and I will never go back.

I would like a 5th wheel to be able to put the pups and maybe a few kids in the trailer during the long haul (and for sanity's sake )

Not sure that is a good idea. Don't know about Cali, but in Texas it is against the law to put passengers in a moving Trailer.

I would not do that. Have you ever seen a travel trailer or 5th wheel that tipped over? I've seen a couple, and I tell you I it's much safer in the tow vehicle ...
