Smile my new x exhaust

my glasspacks were rusted out and whole exhaust pieced together with 2"+2.5" pipe .
so i ordered the 2 chamber summit flowmaster copys
and the summit x pipe kit in 2.5 "

exited the pipes out the side before the rear wheels , sounds much better .
here's a pc drawing of what i had planned had to change it a little when it came time to bolting and welding it up .

pics of truck with new exhaust

thinking about taking the angled pice out and making pipe straight like pc drawing , i like the look of the exhaust closer to wheel and a straight pipe with baloney cut end .
need to order (2) 4 foot 2.5 " pipes

i agree that closer to the tire would look better and a angle cut on the end not having it turn and point straight out would sure give it a faster look. nice job on it though, did you do the work or did you farm it out?

Not to high jack here but!
Oh welding no fun laying under a vehicle, I got a gas welder for my 16Th birthday like 55 yrs ago. Well it didn't take long for me to learn not to wear Engineer boots and overalls while doing any welding as those Red Hot metal slag dingo berries burn through clothes leaving little skin burn marks and as you jump up it rolls down in your boot, ouch..my 2cent
