01 e250 p0171 & p0174
I have a 01 Ford E250 van 5.4L and have codes p0171 & p0174. I have replaced the MAF and DPFE sensors. The freeze frame data is:
Calc Load- 98%
Temp- 181
STFT B1- 1.6%
LTFT B1- 7.8%
STFT B2- -0.8%
LTFT B2- 4.7%
RPM- 645
SPEED- 0mph
Why is the load at 98%? What afects the load reading? I need to smog this van and I'm lost.
Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank You

See LTFT B1 and STFT B1.
They are out of limits causing the codes.
Don't worry about the load %, fix the intake air leaks likely from dry rotted rubber fitting or any thing causing unaccounted for air getting into the intake or any reasons there is excess fuel such as a faulty fuel regulator or leaking injectors etc.
You have to do repairs based on the codes first.
After the repairs are made and the codes are cleared with the scanner, some drive cycles need to be made so the PCM gets all the retesting done.
The EVAP system takes the longest.
Until all are retested as good , you will see a code 1000.
Very often an EVAP code will be allowed to pass inspection due to it's long testing time, as long as all other PIDS have passed and are not present as incomplete.
Good luck.
