Hey everyone. Been a while since I've been able to stop by the VA chapter, but it's been a busy Spring! Put the ranger on a severe diet and gave it a face lift for this year and still working the bugs out. Got a race coming up in Stafford VA on June 30th if anyone wants to come. The track is Mountain View Mud Bog, and is located at 881 Kellogg Mill Rd. Reply here if you want more info or have any questions.

Running in the 4 second range on the DOT tires and all motor. Down into the 3's on the cuts and nitrous.

I'll be racing in Kerneysville WV this weekend (6/16) at Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Should be a good day.

 

That is a killer ride! The reverse headers and name are so cool!

 

Thanks, it's been a work in progress over the last couple of years. If you get close, the body is actually pretty rough, but at 30' or more it looks good. And thats all a mud truck needs!

 

I bet it sounds tough too.

Thanks. We'll be running again this weekend in Stafford (881 Kellogg Mill Rd) if y'all wanna come on out. I need to finish up the repairs to the motor where I busted a few pistons, but hope to get it finished this week and ready for the weekend.

 

I would love to bring my 3 year old son to watch the monster trucks. Can anyone go, what time and how much on July 30th at mountain view?

 

No monster trucks at this event, just a bunch of fast mud trucks going through the 160' pit. It is a family event and we even have a moon bounce for the little ones. Gates open at 9, drivers meeting at noon with racing to start soon after. The really fast nitrous/alcohol injected blower cars usually run around 3pm if you are a little late. Found out tonight my motor won't be ready, too much damage. But I'll still be there working the pit either at the start or the finish most of the day.
