My '51 F1 build (Updated Old Skool Hot Rod)
#151
Next??? College saving for the kids (3 of them ages 5 , 1, and one on the way).
This project will be the last for awhile as I am running out of places to keep them. I've got 6 now with addition of the Ford pickup so I need to hold-off. So for now I will satify my fix with other people's projects.
Just in case your wondering, My others (automotive babies) are (as you can see I am not Brand loyal, I buy what I like):

It's been awhile since I've posted. I've been driving the little truck a bunch and had to make a few adjustments.
First TCI's suspension for these pickup's SUCKS! wore out in a little over a year with something like 400 miles on the truck. You get what you pay for...they are crap.
So I needed to do something and decided that since I liked the low look but not the ride on these light short base trucks I installed an Air-Ride system. What a difference...its like driving a Cadillac now. Just awesome and the added benefit is it sits low when its parked and I'll never worry about a speed bump. Pretty sweet.
Since I had it in the shop I also changed the engine dress-up a bit to go more old school with it. Enjoy!

Thanks, as for the system breaking, the shop doing the restoration on my truck installs alot of those air-ride systems and said they have gotten better over time and now do not have any long term issues with any of their clients. Just food for thought.
