Thank you but that 1-800 number just has a busy signal when I tried it. The 2689 is disconnected and 1691 also just has a busy signal. Still looking for a way to contact Leonards in Waco TX.

Just south of Waco on I35 is Quality Truck Parts. A guy named Connoly works there and he used to work at Leonard's. Call Quality and ask for him.

If anyone is wondering exactly what I'm looking for. I have a 1957 F600 that I am looking for replacement wheels on we currently have the "widowmakers". From reading this forum it looks like a 22.5" 6 on 8.75" bolt pattern 6 lug is my best bet. But I've also been told a 19.5" or 20" 6 lug would work.
If anyone knows any differently let me know!
Or if you know where I might find them. I am in NE OK and I think I may have located some in AL or NY but those leads are still being checked out so I'm still open to researching other leads.

Thank you everyone for all your help.

Kathy

19.5 and 22.5 are tubeless.

19.5 will result in a tire that is too short for your truck, looking funny and further limiting your top speed, increasing cruise rpms.

22.5s with the 6 on 8.75 should be fairly easy to find.

20s with that pattern will be locking ring wheels with tubeless tires. Perfectly servicable and safe, but you will need a truck shop that knows these to work on them. Not every shop will fool with them. IMO, make these your last resort.

Aren't there any truck salvage yards anywhere near you? Surely there's at least one somewhere around Tulsa. Ford trucks used the 6 on 8.75" bolt pattern wheel for many years and any salvage yard ought to at least have the tube type 20" wheels if not the tubeless 22.5" wheels.

Do they have any more? I just bought a 86 F600 and need 6 wheels for it. I really prefer 22.5s as I drive in the oil patch in the panhandle close to you.

Wheel

The 2 1/2 ton military 6x6 wheels match the six lug pattern ford used. They are good split ring rims, not the widow makers. They can be plentiful in some areas of the country. Search the scrap yards.

Thanks, but here in the oil patch, no one will touch a split rim, really want the 22.5s so i can run a 11r and get a more popular tire.

If you are in Northern OK . Check with Tom at Central Ag Tire and Wheel in Wichita ,KS 888-742-1408 .He helped us find some 22.5 wheels for a 1966 other brand truck.
The 2 1/2 ton wheels can be bought for $35-50 apiece . Camo Conner Stillwater OK 580-455-2259
Brown's Military vehicles Binger OK 405-656-2762
Hope that helps
I have been thinking about buying a school bus and putting the axles under my old truck . Then it would have newer brakes and wheels . Some buses sell for what a set of wheels and tires would cost .
