fuel pump problems Shaina

Hey was wondering about a fuel problem I'm experiencing on my 92 f150. I replaced the fuel pump not 2 months ago and I'm having same problems as before. Turn switch on and no whirring sound from my pump. Let me back up. Was driving it in the mountains putting it through it's paces and started driving down and just quits. Start it up runs so sluggish that I know if I put in drive or give some gas will go dead. I already know that maybe I bought a faulty fuel pump. But really what are the chances of that and does anyone know if maybe I'm causing problem. I have not went mudding just crawling.

What brand of fuel pump did you install? Motorcraft, Airtex, Carter, AC are quality pumps. I will not recommend "no-name" pumps due to a bad personal experience with one. There is what your chances are.
