driveable for 10min then loses power. turn off and on and get another 10 min.

hey guys, I'm in BFE alaska in a logging camp by myself. this f350 is my only ride out here and i need to get her fixed. it starts fine and drives fine for about 10-15 minutes. then it starts to sputter and i lose power, like all power. it will idle just fine, but when i hit the gas it wants to die, sometimes it even dies. if i turn it off and turn it back on i can get another 10 minutes out of it till it does it again. due to my remote location, i cant go around getting parts. i have to get them flown out here on a $600 bush flight. it did sit through the winter with a quarter tank in it, but i would think if it was water in the gas it wouldn't start back up and run fine for the next however many minutes. maybe a fuel filter? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a lot of things. Fuel filter, fuel pump, bad fuel, pressure regulator, other electrical problem (bad MAF sensor?), clogged air filter (vermin nest?), etc.

Maybe that bush pilot can bring you a mobile mechanic to diagnose and repair the problem.

well i can rule out the clogged air filter. i also put some heet in her, had about a quarter tank. that should rule out the water in the fuel. also, wouldn't the fact that when it boggs down and i turn it off and back on and it will run fine rule that out. it did it to me again today. had about 6+ miles on when it started doing it. i immediately turned it off and then back on. back to normal after that for the rest of the 3 miles of my trip.

A bottle of Heet rules out nothing.

What year is this truck?
