Yep. Sorry. Ma answered my email back and was happy for the suggestion so I will more than likely be going this way. I haven't heard from Jake yet on the downpipe so I emailed alligator performance, they carry all that stuff too.

I'll take a video of it when I eventually get done.

I'm tempted to give it to you. I can almost imagine what crazy email you could/would send to her!

Alligator answered me this morning. They said they've seen many trucks our years with over 700hp on the 3 inch dp. I believe them, but I'm looking for maximum flow, mainly for egt control, so my stubborn self is going to put one in. They also said it won't fit without extensive floor/firewall work, which I knew.

They said any 99-03 downpipe will bolt up to the turbo. I'm looking for a used 4 inch one if anyone knows where to get one. I posted in the want ads, I think I'll put a post up in the 99-03 forum too.

Ya, that would take a lot of clearancing Aaron! My plan is to come off with the 4 inch, then as soon as I can adapt it to 5 inch. I figure I'll end up getting a 5 inch elbow to come off the exhaust kit to go upwards towards the turbo. I may need to get a straight piece of 5 inch too, I'll see when I tackle the project.

Ya, I think that would be a tad loud! I thought it almost got obnoxious sounding before. It would look pretty wild with me pulling a 48' trailer with the exhaust out the hood!

It may draw the attention of the highway patrolmen too. Local law enforcement would be no worry, but the patrolmen probably wouldn't like that too well!

Yeah and you wouldn't have to worry about soot on your wheel or camper, lol. Soot would be no problem because it would either be on the roof, or you could use the windshield wipers to wipe it off!
