New project 1974 Ford Motorhome
I havn't been on here in a while. My last build was a 1974 shortbed.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ver-build.html. Here is my new project. 1974 F350 roll-along chasis mount motorhome. It has a new 460,c6 trans, wheels tires, and I'm working on the interior. I paid $2000 for it originally. Oh I just remembered it is hard to post pictures here.

It has a 4.5k Onan generator, new tires and mud flaps. I took it out for the first time last month, camping at Dumont Dunes. It ran great but the power wasnt so good. I need to check the timing. I also think maybe the carb is too small. It has a 600cfm Edelbrock. I was thinking a 750 would be better.

I'm very interested in the adaption from an ordinary truck to the camper part. Do post pictures as you take them. Electrics are always interesting, too.
Thanks for the post.

That is totally sweet. I am sort of a camper/motorhome hobbyist so I totally love that. My next project will be something similar with a Ford motorhome. Keep the pics coming!

Nice, I like it... It would also benefit from some sort of cold ram air cleaner.. You'll definitely notice it on the highway...
