'69 f250 camper special - ready for cabover?

Im getting ready to pick up a '69 cabover camper and was wondering what I need to do to prepare my truck. Since it is a f250 camper special is it ready to go as is? Al

clean out our bed would be number one, depending on how long and style of camper you may need to extend or remove the bumper/tail gate. i would look at wireing for the camper and if it has break lights. tie downs added changed. i would also make sure you have or the seller has camper jacks to get it into your bed, i have seen many craigslist adds that the camper did come with them and the seller didnt have any either.

Make sure they work too. Last camper I got (for free, so I can't complain) had the camper jacks, but none of them worked.
