A/C Blower Motor amp draw

gents i have a question in my 90 f250 7.3 idi 5 speed 4x4 when the a/c is on "high" my blower pulls 12 amps dc.... on my 94 ford bronco they use the same blower motor and resistor as the truck but when it is on high the blower pulls 18amps DC.... what im getting at is there is a huge diffrence between the 2 amp draws and huge diffrence in the air blowing between the bronco and truck out of the vents.... in the IDI i replaced the blower and resistor with new parts but am still geting the same results 12amp draw..... is there another reisitor inline with the blower switch on the 90 verses the bronco? all doors and acutoators are functioning as they should.... thank you for the input...
