Extra power tips for pulling with a 98 .5.4

I have a 98 f150 with the 5.4 tritan in it, looking for any tips for more power pulling a camper

Not much but a lower gear ratio.
Nothing you can do on the outside of the motor will be helpfull unless it's gears and a program change for a little more aggressive timing.
There is little to nothing to get from headers or intake mods.

can u just change the timing to be more aggressive is that a computer issue

You have no access to change timing because it's all in the computer program and is a 'computed' value applied to the circuits that fires each coil, as the conditons change while driving..
There is no external way as there is no distributer to move it's setting.
To get a little improvment requires a lot of money to accomplish by buying a program and hardware to install it in your PCM.

K thanks I didn't think there was much I could do. Think I found the spot to hold my speed pretty well. Thanks again

Agree with Bluegrass! Figured this out after spending money on things that in the long run added to the longevity of the truck but did little to increase pulling power.
So, for my birthday, I did a gear change! As we already had the programer it was a simple task to reprogram the computer for the new gear ratio.
Now I'm anxiously awaiting to see how we do pulling over the mountains!
