Broke Brakes

Does anyone know where I can find a good breakdown drawing of the front wheel hub on an '87 Bronco (manual hubs)? I have new rotors, but I'll be damned if I can see how to get the old ones off. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a diagram must be worth ten thousand. The inboard side of the rotors feels like a crinkle cut french fry and I'd like to start being able to stop. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I also need to replace the brake booster, and I have a feeling that it'll be a giant pain in the butt to get to the backside of the firewall.

Easiest thing is pick up a Haynes manual at your favorite parts store.

I have a Haynes, but it wasn't much help. Grainy B&W photos aren't as good as a breakdown drawing.

If no one here has a drawing you might try fullsizebronco.com. Also broncograveyard.com or lmc trucks for diagrams in their parts catalog. You will need a hub socket for the lock nut & inner nut removal and to re-torque the bearings & retighten the lock nut. Remove the outer part of the hub, remove the inner snap ring on the tip of the axle shaft, remove the outer wire lock ring inside the tip of the spindle, remove the inner part of the hub, remove the lock nut,(there should be a washer? with a tab bent over one flat of the lock nut), inner nut, bearings, & spindle with rotor. This is best I remember and for manual locking hubs. Never worked on auto hubs so don't know if they are the same. Good luck.
