February Saturday in Chattanooga
Hello everyone. Hey what is there cool to do in Chattanooga on a Saturday in February to make the wife AND me happy. I was gonna go by Cokers. Honest Charley's is closed and Coyote Rodder is normally open but not this Saturday. Might also make the International Tow Museum. There are a couple of nick nack shops the wife has seen online and will likely head out to Hamilton Place. Just wondering any and all leads appreciated. Thanks

Well, there are the tourist draws (that are actually pretty good): TN Aquarium & IMAX Theater, Hunter Museum of Art, The carousel at Coolidge Park, The Incline (takes you to Pointe Park and several shops on top of Lookout Mountain), and the Tennessee Valley Railroad has a museum and train rides.
Check out the Trade Center to see if they are hjaving a car or boat show....every weekend is something diffferent.
If you go to the Incline and want some great pizza & ice cream for lunch, try Mr. T's Pizza. Home made to order and HUGE servings.
For excellent down-home Southern food, try Bea's Restaurant on Dodds Avenue (about the 4600 block). Some of the best fried chicken around.

The Doubletree Hotel is probably the best one, but may be a bit pricey.
If you want some adventure, there is the Delta Queen riverboat hotel at Coolidge Park. There is also a nice bed-n-breakfast near the Hunter Museum down town.
The Read House is downtown, and is nice. It also has a "haunted room" if that sort of thing interests you.
