Need electrical specialist

I have 99 F150 radio died, was told it was radio so we get another one identical to it and it doesn't work either. I would like to know if anyone on here knows someone in the Raleigh, NC area that can diagnose and fix the problem.

Thanks

Bring it on down to Classic Ford in Smithfield. We have the lowest labor rate in the area and I work there, it's a win-win for you Ask for Dean.

I have checked fuses and anything else I could, (I'm not good at all with electrical stuff). There is also an issue with the odomiter lighting being sporadic don't know if there is any connection. It's my sons truck and I hate him having to ride around with earbuds in listning to music on his phone.

Dean I may take you up on that, I live in Zebulon and really never think of you guys down there, Leith is right up the road but man they are EXPENSIVE!

The odometer is a separate problem caused by cold solder joints in the cluster. There is a thread floating around here that describes how to fix it. The cluster is over $400 through the dealer.

Is the radio problem I described something you have seen? If so can you give me some sort of idea what the repair cost might be? $$ is tight I am self employed and economy has not been kind to my business. I bought this truck for him when he turned 16 three years ago, his 19th birthday is a month away and this would be a good gift.

Thanks
Bobby
