What carb for 302?

Hi, the 4bbl on my 302 in my 79 ford needs replaced. I'm looking for something that's going to give it some power, but also be somewhat fuel efficient. This truck is going to be my daily driver when I turn sixteen. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Stick with a vacuum secondaries since you're seeking fuel efficiency.

Suggestions;
Edelbrock Performer 500 cfm, PN 1403
Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm, PN 1406
Holley 4160 600 cfm
Summit's 600 cfm carb, a Holley clone...PN SUM-M08600VS

.... and a one-inch tall carb spacer.
