Well heres a couple pics...

The long tube headers will not clear the front drive shaft. Ive bent them almost 3" inches inboard and they arent going to clear. Cheapest option for now...5.0 exploader manifold quasi header deals.



Got the bars back and the bushings installed.



Painted the forward hangers




Bolting up the manifolds tomorrow and it should be ready to fire.

I had installed some long tubes on a 80s bronco with a SAS..... I don't recall the brand tho, but I had to build a bracket to help hold them over

I noticed that when i installed the headers on my buddy's 85 chevy, 454 headers are on the driveshaft.... but hes lost interest for now so i havent tried to fix it

O I had done that, but they would spring back a tad n rub the shaft a bit. Guy only ran them like that a year, than I jammed the drivetrain into a extended cab ranger.

It wasnt bending enough to clear the shaft without springing back

That's what the set I dealt with was doing, so pulled the. Into place, made a bracket to hold the collector over. Prob not the best idea. But it worked.

could of always let it rub... until it cut the dshaft in half.... I've seen it happen

I believe I told you heating and bending the headers wouldn't work. Just saying :flip
