Instrument Lights

Hey guys should be a simple question to answer. I have a 01 f250 crewcab 4x4 v10. On the instrument lights I have a couple that are out. Do these remove from back side of cluster or do I have to pull dash out to get to them from the front. Thanks Dennis.

I would disconnect the battery. Then remove the radio if you have the stock radio I recommend the removal tool at local auto parts store. I vaguely remember some screws going up in the radio opening then you have to pull on that whole surround dash covering (thank god not the whole dash) and disconnect your head light switch, power port, airbag on off, etc. then you have (4)- 7mm bolts to remove gauge cluster do not forget the transmission indicator you can unclip or unbolt it then take the tension wire off. Then flip it over and start removing all the tan clips by turning them counter clockwise and pulling them out the light bulbs simply pull out. reinstall in reverse. every bolt is metric 10, 8 or 7 with a 1/4" drive ratchet and a 6" -12" extension helps have fun and be patient don't be too force full.
