putting a 9" ford rear end in a 51 f1

I'm sure a lot of you have done this, but being new to the truck world I am wondering how difficult it is? Will there be much of a modification to lengthen/shorten the housing on the 9" to fit the wheelbase of the truck?

Give me your insights. Thanks!

It's surprising what isn't in that article. I thought there was a sticky that described the wedges needed to correct pinion angle; the special U-joint to adapt the tock driveshaft to the 9"s yoke; and some dope on how to build a new lower shock mount? We ought to capture that stuff and add it to the linked article.
