Have you ever checked your IAC. Idle air control.
Mounted behind your throttle body?

TRdltly, now we are getting somewhere. in the past, when i removed the throttle bypass hose the motor would still run and i could give it fuel without stalling. in fact, when i use to put my thumb over the hose the motor would die. Now, when i just pull the hose away from the air intake (before the butterfly) the motor stalls the second the hose is even 1/16" away.
