Off Road Lights INSTALL with PICS
Ok, so i finally got my lights wired up. Still have one more to do, but thought id post up about the current progress
didnt want wires going under the grille for various reasons to include getting snagged during cleaning and maintenance, and also wanted a cleaner looking install (as usual)
routed the wiring along the light bar mounting location thru the bumper next to the tow hooks. notice the high temp anti chaffing braided sleeve covering the wires.
coming from the bumper following a line up to the factory wiring harness
following the factory harness towards and under the no.2 (driver side) battery
from under the battery tray towards the fuse box, then under/around fuse box, again, following factory harness
follows the harness to just aft of the fuse box where the pass thru wires are located, then comes up the harness
the ground (black) wire comes up and goes to the common ground location used by the factory. My ring terminal is hard to see(nearly impossible) as its under the factory ring terminal. U can barely see a glimpse of the blue
btw all my engine compartment crimp connectors were adhesive lined shrink type with solder
hope y'all approve

Ah, the residence inn. I hope you get points for all that time!
Is it a newer one with nice beds or an older one with saggy foam mattresses?
I spend over 200 nights/year in hotels too. You should check out the new spring hill suites and town place suites. Both are Marriott but newer in most cases and very comfy.
Love your lights. Nice work.

yes im using the trucks aux 1 switch and relay and not the cheapo that came with the light. yes i can run the lights independent of the headlights. so if im in a car chase like in the movies, i can turn off my headlights and taillights and still see where im going but i will disappear to whoever is chasing me lol
