19.5 or 22.5

Looking to upgrade tires and wheels. Any opinions on either switching to 19.5" or 22.5". I have an 02 F350 DRW 4x4 C/C, currently primary use is daily commute and towing 9000 lb bumper pull travel trailer about 6-7 times a year. By the time I do this upgrade will get larger 5th wheel and tow 12+ per year lots of hill climbing as well. Any opinions are appreciated. P.S. Mostly looking for function over styling

22.5, when done right, look good, and can ride pretty smooth.

It's just my opinion, but 19.5's look sweet!

22.5s are pretty pimp looking, but have read the longevity is crazy, 150,000-250,000 miles. Anyone know this as fact our just marketing hype

tire size

I don't know about 19.5, but 22.5 is a common class 8 truck size, along with 24.5 (11R22.5, to be more precise). Those tires are typically 14 or 16 ply and come in steer or drive tire styles and are probably the ones that get the high mileage. In a pickup, they would ride pretty hard and without a substantial load, might not perform well. Rims that would work on your pickup might not be easy to find. Visit a truck tire dealer to find out.
