DFW dealers with heated trans flush machine?

It's time to do a trans flush on Tonka.

However, every shop I've called in both Austin and DFW say they do NOT have a heated flush machine.

I find this hard to believe. There are at least a dozen dealers in DFW. The only one I've been able to find was in Weatherford (20 miles west of FTW).

Any other dealers?

Southwest in Weatherford isn't that far, seems like nice people and I was just there today. There's a Sonic almost right across the street, so it's not a bad place to wait and look at all the new trucks. Have you called Grapevine, Grand Prairie, or Sam Pack Lewisville?

Grapevine did a "7 XT*10*QLVC Oil - Auto trans", whatever the heck that means, on my 60k. Sounds like it was just a drain and fill, but I speak English and not Ford pig latin. My 30k was a "9 XT*6*QSP Fluid - Trans" at Gene Messer in Lubbock.

As far as I know, neither Grand Prairie nor Grapevine has one. 5-Star's website says nothing about it either way.

My only complaint about Weatherford is that I'm in the Mid-Cities, and it's a full hour drive out there. While I don't usually have anything all that pressing to do, I hate to have to take down an entire day for what should be a one-hour procedure. Call me picky.

sounds like the 1st one was a mercon LV tranny fluid, while the previous one u had was a mercon SP. supposedly, they're somewhat compatible with each other, but if u walk into a lot of ford dealerships, most guys aint gonna know tat they're compatible. they're gonna tell u straight NO.
