Final tip:

Be sure the actuator is fully pushed forward before going on with reassembly. It will be not possible to reinsert the key/lock cylinder without doing so. I was able to move the actuator forward with a small screwdriver through the empty lock cylinder space in order to complete the job, but if it is pushed forward earlier, the cylinder will reinsert cleanly without adjustment.
