Question What was the first year of the Lightning 351 trucks??

I thought that Ford introduced the Lightning or SVO in the early '80's. What year were the first Lightnings??

They had the idea in the 80's to make the lightning but it wasnt produced till 93' and ended production of first gen in 95' with a limited number in 95' making them the rarest and started production for 99'-04' with small changes through the years..

Have a unique engine for the 2nd generation Lightning truck. It is a complete new old stock engine. possibly the prototype for the 99 and has a buld date of Feb 98. Was used for display and in climate control on stand. Everything looks new. Appears to never have been fired but is complete and has supercharger and altenator. Part numbers have X in them. Wanted to use in early V-8 Ford but have a change in plans and looking to find a new home for it. Respond for details.

Lightning engine

$4950. Member since 07. Have advertised this site before but now would not let me advertise saying must have 25 posts before able to use classifieds. Do not understand but was looking up info on lightning post and thought someone may be looking for something like this for their project. It is an unusal find. May have it sold here locally but not sure fellow will be able to come up with the cash. If not will find other mode to advertise it,
Hopefully will be able to list on classifieds here if I can figure out what has happened.

Unfortunately you can't advertise in the tech forums.
