rough idle, then high idle. Going Insane

I feel like this topic has been covered a lot but I'm at a loss. I used to think I was mechanically inclined but this truck always finds a way to make me feel stupid. The truck is a 351 5 speed. Back in high school I put the crane cam made for these trucks in. I drove it for a few thousand miles and it always ran great for me. It was a blast to drive. Now my brother drives it and has had nothing but problems. First something in the column went bad and caused the truck to run terrible. got it fixed. Then the module on the distributor goes bad. fixed. It started to idle terrible. Replaced IAC and TPS.

Now the whole truck shakes while idling. This sucks bad enough. Then when driving for a bit and pushing in the clutch the idle rockets to 2 grand and sticks. Ive sprayed carb cleaner all over to try to find vacuum leaks and I get nothing. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so what did you do to fix it.
Thanks in advance
-Jake

Sounds like a sticking IAC to me.

What do you mean the truck shakes while idling? Is it idling low, missfiring, what? You're not being very specific.

I guess it could be misfiring. The truck wobbles back and forth pretty badly. I guess that would have to be a misfire?
