Truck Sways on Highway

Truck Sways on Highway
I've been a member almost 9 years and this is the place to go to learn about my truck. I've fixed many problems with the help of the membership. I have a '97 F150, 4X4 off road, 4.6L, 147K miles. I had the front end completely rebuilt last year but I still notice that while on the highway, the truck seems to be loose, drifting slightly left & right. There's no play in the steering wheel and all's good with the front end. I read some posts about a sway bar. The consenses is that there was none on the '97 F150 but an after market one is available. Does anyone know if this will correct the problem or maybe someone knows what the problem might be.
Also, I noticed that the top leaf spring (closest to the bed) is not inline with the rest of the leafs. Is this normal or is there a bad spring that needs attention? Thanks for the help.

The small leaf spring being a bit crooked is common and doesn't hurt anything. My 01 had the same thing.
It should have a front sway bar. Check the end links. It could also be the tires. I have noticed that if the tires have more air in them than what it recommends on the door sticker, they tend to pull more with changes in the pavement.
