Retrosound Radio Install Question 79 F150

Ok, so I installed the Retrosound Radio RC- Classic in my 79 F150, clean install, followed directions on which wires recieve constant 12v and ignition 12v. Everything works fine but the clock won't turn off when the truck is off. Is this normal? and if not, is it something I can live with because Id really hate to splice back into the wireing, not to menton take apart my dash and remove the radio again

re: your issue

Thanks for posting, sounds like you have constant power on our red lead to our radio, the red lead tells the radio to turn on/off when you turn off the truck--- (Yellow is hot all the time) with your volt meter, find something that is hot with +12V when the truck is on, but turns off when you turn the key off, check the fuse box and attach the red lead to that, if you need more help, please email us at support@retrosoundusa.com or call us at 909-364-1372 Thanks!
