Rear End for 1990 F Series Super Duty Wanted

Hello. I need a rear end for a 1990 Super Duty.
It is a flatbed tow truck with 463 gear ratio.
I need a rear end that is 410 ratio.

Anybody have one for sale?

Thanks
Homertwo

The Dana 80 in the F-Superdutys only came with 4.63s or 5.13s, I believe...

Do you need a whole axle or just a gear change?

I don't know about the Dana 80.
When I pulled the cover off, it said right on the ring gear Dana 44 something. I will have to find the paper I wrote it down on to be exact.

I want to change to a 410 for better milage. Someone told me all I had to do was swap out the whole thing with one that had a 410.

If I have to change the gears, I will do that. Just thought it might be easer to change the whole thing than try to set up the correct settings.

Thanks

As far as I know, 4:10 were never an option in the F-superdutys and IF you find a complete axle, they go for 500-1500

An F-Super Duty axle would not be a Dana 44, a 44 is a small axle, and I don't think any Ford ever came with a Dana 44 rear axle anyways.

Measure the ring gear diameter, if it is 11.25", it is a Dana 80.

Actually....

Some late 70's F-100's and F-150's came with Dana 44 rear axles instead of the 9". They are rare but they're out there. I've seen a couple of them.

The 8.8" didn't come out until 1983. Honestly I have no idea why Ford ever did that.
