Arrow Beating coolant questions to death!

I know coolant choices and options have been beat to death but I have quick question regarding ELC coolants vs. DEAC. I was told recently that the ELC coolants can eat up seals prematurely on our engines, is this true? Ive only read praise on here so I thought I would ask if anyone has seen any seals or gaskets failing due to ELC coolants.

I was told that the seals and gaskets on the rigs that the ELC was intended for are heavier duty. Was also advised to run a DEAC coolant, which is also counter to what I have heard?

At this point I have 4 gallons of the Ford Gold but am on the fence about what to put in the rig?

International specifies ELC for this engine (their VT365), so it is fine. DEAC isn't an extended life cooland and I'm not sure how it would stand up to EGR temps. Does it have silicates?

Run ELC.

CAT lists their DEAC as having 120ppm silicates in a 50/50 solution. Big selling point is it's formulated to be protective of aluminum.

It does have about half the silicates of Ford Gold, but they're still there and it has a much shorter service interval. In my opinion (and many others), ELC is the way to go.

Anything that is CAT EC-1 rated. I used Zerex HD since it was available at NAPA.

Thanks guys, appreciate the input. I think the question is wether or not the organic acids are overly aggressive on seals and gaskets but it doesn't sound like anyone has had any issues?
