Joey's Project

I finally located a 410 for Joey's truck and I have been trying to research the numbers on the engine to determine that I really have a 410. So far all seems to be what it says it is. With that said I have found the casting numbers on the block to be the same for 390-428. My concern is if I were to decide to create a 428 out of this 410 would it be possible. I have a thought that even though the outside castings are the same, I believe the core used to cast up a 428 allows for a thicker cylinder wall to accommodate the additional eighty thousandths bore. Could someone put some clarity to this question?
Block casting C6ME-A
Crank casting 1U
Heads C7AE-A
These numbers all match Mustangtek specs. for the 410
Thanks for any insight on this project.
