I just picked up these two Goodyear Wrangler Authority 265/75r16 AT E rated tires BRAND NEW for $200 for both, Craigslist. Had them mounted, balanced and installed for $20.

They are noticably smaller than the 285/75r16 Bf Goodrich AT's that the truck came with, even with the tread on the older ones almost gone, but they'll do the job. If I can get 15k miles out of them I'll have more than gotten my value.

Now I have to hunt for two more of the exact same ones.

Orignally I'd planned on new (store bought) tires but wasn't certain to go back 285's or not, being more expensive and also whether or not to go at's or highway. This find simply made the choice much more easy.

 

Now you need two more,lol.

 

Yup yup. Might take some time and effort but I'll get 'em.
