The clear looks nice. What's your ride Glock? What year? I have a 94' F350 and I nabbed a dome light from a 97-03' F series and its oh so bright! Gonna be nice when I get a 16led light in the center, and xenon blue for the map lights.

I was just stoked when I found out the dome light from a newer generation truck was a simple straight bolt on mod for better lighting

1990 I have one of those model lights I salvaged from a Taurus, but I don't like the way it looks compared to the classic chrome one. Has anyone bought one of these lenses? How is the quality?

Thank you.

Did it improve the light output?

I've been without a cover for years because the old one was so yellow, going without made things a lot brighter. I am going to order one of these clear lenses to make my truck look less, uh, old and broke down? Thanks for the tip.

I was wondering, what was the thought process behind the cream colored OEM lens? Why didn't Ford make them clear?

I see the Chevy had one as well.

I think it was just the style at the time. I've seen plenty of dome lights from the 70's like that. Maybe the type of bulbs and plastic used didn't diffuse the light very well

OK, I ordered one (and a dimmer switch cap.)

I'll report back when I get it.

Thank you all.
