Do NOT believe the miles shown on the odometer, especially on a truck that was used commercially.

The odometers of these trucks read to 99,999.9 then return to ZERO.

So, it could have 130,000, 230,000, 330,000 miles or who knows?

odometer flip

that's a bummer. things i look for to indicateage is wear on the pedals, and odometer digits comming up centered, the steering linkage is worn out , as is the rool-up door. the engine sure purrs. i tried getting info from US DOT, but came up empty so far

got to thinking; and remebered a 1985 F250 diesel i had. the wear on the seat, and steering wheel slop. so i surmise this C706 has probably 230k miles if not more. engine seems tight, when i do a tune up i'll do a compression test
