Dumb intake manifold question

I was looking to get a 4v intake manifold for a 400m. I was wondering can I take a manifold from a 351 or other motor? Also did any 400`s come stock with a 4v intake manifold?

IIRC, Weiand and Edelbrock both offer 4-bbl manifolds.

If you found a 351M that somebody had put a 4bbl on, yeah it will fit, but not a 351W or C.

No factory production 4-barrel intake for a 400, just aftermarket.

Well I was thinking of going to a junkyard tomorrow. So I have got another dumb question. How do you identify the 351M from the Windsor or Cleveland?

351M will look just like your 400, 351W will have the thermostat mounted on it, the 351C is dry like yours, but is narrower, and has huge intake ports.
