This was the first time for me to attend a dyno day, I didn't participate not enough time and there were way to many cummins there.

I was only able to spend about and hour there (wife had other plans for me) I could have spent all day though.

Nice pictures! I like the orange triple cab especially.

Some of those numbers on the board look a little suspicious though. Typically these turbo diesel truck engines end up putting out HP/TQ numbers that are roughly a 1:2 ratio. So with 600HP you would expect to see about 1200 ft/lb of torque. Some of those number are closer to 1:3 which seems a little odd to me. It looks to me like one of the PSd guys ran a 541/1506, which looks off to me and there are some strange ratios up there for the CTD guys too. It's kinda hard to read the board on some of those numbers, but they look a little wonky.

Some impressive numbers though all the way around. Dude with the D-max is running 883/1503! That thing must be a monster. Looks like a lot of fun anyway.

Maybe this is clearer, I tried to blow it up. I think you can zoom in rather than just click the enlarge.
I agree on the torque numbers some were about 3x especially Cummins, but then I think I have always heard they were high on torque.

Yeah, that is a lot clearer. Regardless of the Cummins numbers, Lewis with his 591/1506 seems a little odd out of a PSD too don't you think? Based upon the standard equation used to calculate HP and TQ his peak torque would have been at 2061 RPM. That seems awfully low. Oh well. Oh wait, was this using the dyno from BDP (Beans Diesel Performance)? Lol?

No, the event was scheduled at Spokane Community College. I looked all over the parking lot looking for a portable dyno, almost gave up, but one area had a lot of trucks parked together in the lot so I went back and looked a little closer and found it, they were using the dyno at the collage auto repair shop, I didn't even know they had a dyno it was inside. Lots of smoke coming out of the garage door.

The numbers seemed to be kind of all over the place. Some guys were putting down bigger numbers than expected, some less than expected it sounded like. I was only there for a total of about 30 minutes to drop off some parts and chatted briefly with a friend of mine who ran his truck and wasn't super thrilled with the numbers.
