Sunroof leaks

Hi my first post here. I'm glad I found this forum.

I have a 2006 f-350 DRW with a sunroof. It leaks water to the inside.

It appears to hold the water till I come to a stop then comes out of the head liner to the passenger floor. I can hear the water sloshing around in the roof. when I make a turn it appears to drain out to the outside as there are no more water problems after that.
Was wondering if anyone has had this problem before.
When I close the window on the sunroof I can still move the window up and down slightly indicating to me that the window dose not appear to seal properly.
The seal is on the glass itself and the window can move up past the roof line in the rear to allow ventilation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Drains are clogged. You should drain in the corners on the sun roof. Might try blowing them out with canned air or a compressor. If you use a compressor I would not go over 15 psi.

Did you find your problem? Usually the clogs can be spotted from outside looking down in.

I found the drain holes. They were both plugged but not at the entrance to the drains. I was able to open one of the holes easily. The other one wont be so easy. It will drain now but real slow. I was able to use a long flexible cable like a drain snake. But the last hole hits a dead end about 8" in. The first hole will bury the length of the cable (2'). That one drains easily now.

Thanks so much guys. I know I will have more questions with this truck and I'm glad I was able to find this site...

O.K. I found where the drain comes out.

By opening the front doors and looking in between the fender and leading edge of the doors you can see the drain outlet.

What I did was blow air from that point backwards. That did it.

Junk came flying out the top. Problem solved. Thanks again guys.

Now on to adjusting the emergency brake pads. Need to do some research on that one.
