anyone know about how recalls or owner notification works?
The head gasket on my windstar was recalled or notification? not sure. My engine now needs to be replaced. Ford says they lengthened the warranty to 7 years or 160,000 km. Mine had 175,000km. How can they admit to a faulty part and then say to bad? Help!!!

 

Go to your dealer and see if they can go on OASIS, Ford's warranty info. on the computer, and see what the repair history has been on the vehicle. That would be where I start.

 

Need help too my 1995 Ford Windstar's head gasket just went. It's got 92.600k on it but i'am 4 months over the 7yr mark they (the dealer)
tell me it's going to cost me $1700.00 bucks.Any one out there beat this?

My friends parents had the headgasket replaced 3 times on their windstar, and it's about to go for the 4th.. (all in a about a year)
