Jexes, I beg to differ, that mustard pack scream's the 70's or at the latest 85! I wouldn't eat it though! I am tearing my 75 apart today and found a match book between the drivers a-piller and dash. I will photo it tomorrow just because of the mustard pack!
Thanks!

That's what I was saying, the truck was young when that got dropped in there. I'm looking forward to the pack of matches, once you post it we can debate who's relic is older.

Nice truck Jexes, I will be watching for more pics. I must admit, I am one of the guys that failed in the pic department on my build. Trying to make up for it lately but way behind... My excuse is the 3 rugrats
I had the 351c heads on my 1978 400, they really woke it up (also bored 60 over). It was a great motor!

This build looks interesting. I didn't get as involved as you're going to, but I did build the truck I wanted. A 300 six, 4 speed, 4x4 with an 8' box is kinda hard to find. ...around here at least. The only options it has are the one's I wanted. (which ain't much) I have a stereo and power steering. ...THAT'S IT! Manual disc brakes, no A/C, no tilt, no cruise. ...if it doesn't have it, it won't break.

New Tailgate Pieces:

My stock 400

One of my 4v Cleveland heads and the aluminum valve Covers:

My engine will eventually look very similar to this:

Looks good (even if the motor pic is in a 'stang!). I hopefully will get off work early tomorrow and go hit the yards for some more parts. I don't have a plan, just get what looks good!

How much would you sell that driveshaft for? I'm installing a NP435 in my 79. Don't know for sure if my C6 driveshaft will work.

Do you have the C6 to np205 coupler?

If so I'll trade you my NP435 to np205 one.
