Pass side door mirror glass is cracked, How do I remove just the plate glass, (not the whole assembly) are there pins or is it glued?

tilt the glass so it's pointing to the sky

take a narrow flathead screwdriver and a flashlight

looking from the bottom of the casing into the gap, look for a 1/4" gap near the center. push the screwdriver in there and the glass should pop right out.


I'd warn you to be careful, but you already broke yours. I snapped mine being stupid before I learned about that slot
