That's funny, I'm getting 19 in town and 24 on the highway with mine. That's with a 3.31 axle which will likely be similar to what a diesel will have. This is 13,659 miles of real world driving.

But I agree, not all the EB owners are sharing my MPG reports but even most guys on here with 3.73's are reporting 20-21 on the highway empty. Sounds pretty big to me.

The 5.0 is a wonderful engine and it has great WOW for noise and seat of the pants launch. But it's not a puller like the EB.

Where the diesel will excel is in towing MPG's when compared to a gasser.
