Anyone else had this problem? I'm on my third or fourth one in probably 2 years. I'ts a '94 F-350 7.3 (vin F) PowerStroke. It happened the first time on a cross country trip, and now I just can't seem to keep them on there. Something I'm doing wrong, or any other thoughts? The upper radiator inlet is about directly across from the edge of the alternator pulley. And the hose seems to bend right in front the pulley w/ only about 1/2 inch or so of clearence between them. The hoses I've been getting have been the kind you need to "cut to fit" from different auto stores
NAPA 7438
Daco 70368 (Auto Zone)
I'm tempted to hard pipe the radiator inlet into a 90 deg elbow so I can start my radiator hose a little further from the pulley, or fabing some kind of guard around the alt pulley. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Id bet when you tell them its a 94 they pull up the 7.3 IDI not the 7.3 PSD. Ask for a 95 7.3 psd upper radiator hose, id bet you a thumbs up it'll work better

Thanks all
I got a hose for a '95, a Dayco 70389 from Advanced. Fit like a charm. There was 2 different models, early and late model. The early one, pre cut, gave me better than an inch of clearence. Appreciate all the help
