02 HD Overhead console not working

so the only thing i find wrong with my new (to me) 02 HD is the overhead console not working, the compass or the lights, either when the door is open or when I try to press them to come on.... could it be a fuse or a serious issue. How do i correct this?

Do a search. There are several post on Console repairs. If you have the computer type, then there are a couple of resisters that come loose.
I have only read about these, so do a search and someone knowledgeable will jump in soon.
