I told my wife and 24 yr old daughter about this and they both said who is that..

My Hat is off. Mr Shelby was an influence to me in my hobby. I admire him for his incite in building the car that he did. He made an awesome choice in picking the car style, the legendary AC Ace, my most favourite of all time.

A legend inour time. I just read an article about the latest Mustang bearing his name. 1000 HP, can you believe it? A real car guy. RIP

No doubt, he was the ultimate car guy of car guys. One of my heroes. He will be missed.

And I say we cast stones on the first jag-off that posts a signed glove box lid on ebay for $10,000.
And I think we can expect to see it by next week.

I heard he was from Leesville, Texas. I looked it up in Google Maps and it's nothing more than a crossroads in east Texas. Small doesn't begin to describe it. What a legacy he left us.

It really is the end of an era. Check out Jay Leno's garage. There is a very good interview with Jay and Carroll at the time the new GT350 came out. Love the story about how they came up with the name GT350. Also check out Jay driving his 65 GT350. For me the sound of that car is what it is all about!
