Spoke with Fred. I don't need to change the lugs because 03 and later all use the same lugs. It was your 02 and earlier that had the different pitch lugs that were in compatible.

Had he sold you a set for an 02 they would have the lugs for an 02. He essentially sold you spacers for an 03... which had the lugs that you wanted.

So essentially I am getting the same spacers you got...

BTW do you have ANY IDEA how much money you just cost me?

I've scanned their site but don't see the application for an 03 X.
Looks like they quit making them

Do you have the part number and cost? I can send them an email and see if they have any. I REALLY like the concept of that balancing idea.

Lol yeah about as much as I do.

Don't have a part number for the balancers. Ask for a set for a 350 with single rear wheels. Mine have 16 holes and fit several trucks.

Thanks man....

I owe you... but don't expect to ever get paid...

However, I'd rather owe you than cheat you out of it!

btw, got any close-up pics of the 08+ style fender emblem?
Check my pics.

Those particular wheels look extremely good on an Excursion!!!!!

I still have the stock Limited wheels on my Excursion. I am having a hard time justifying putting so much money into wheels, spacers and all the other associated costs. Plus, should I decide to sell my Excursion next week, I am not going to get that $3,500 to $4,500 in a wheel package back in the selling price.

You have a good point. Better to pull them off and sell them to another X owner. We are still in the honeymoon period with our X and knew we were going to do rim/tires when we bought the truck. We got our X for under $15k so have room to play on the market value.

I'm running a similar setup and have been very happy with it.

What shocks are you using, and how heavy a trailer do you pull? I am using Monroe reflex shocks and with my 8k camper in tow the front needs more dampening imo, but its fine when not pulling.
I tow a 6k boat to the lake and back 2 time a month and the cub scout camping trialer about 5 times a year its not very heavy.

I use the Gabriel Max Control shocks and like them. However I think I would like an adjustable shock even better.
