Hey guys, as your can tell I'm very new to this stuff I just bought a 1977 F-150 and I need help identifying the transmission that is in the truck. It has a 4 speed and it doesn't feel like a granny low but it may be. It is bolted up to a 300 Inline 6 and its a 4wd. So if anyone knows any way to identify the transmission or anything it helps.

 

There should be no mistaking granny low, you can basically walk along side the truck when it's in 1st gear, is your reverse up towards the dash (T-19) or back towards the seat (NP-435).

 

Reverse is towards the seat. But I have been told it is a T-18 and also I have been told T-5. Does anyone know for sure?
