Home trailer buildup

I'm having to blast through this build so I can use it to move, but here's a couple shots of how it sits today:

And the gooseneck hitch install on my 69 F250

FWIW, I am a professional welder so it'll all stay together pretty well.
The deck boards will be flush with the top of the frame rails, and the outer square tube will stand about 1/2" high to act as a sort of rub rail. I thought up the tie down system on the fly, it'll be neat to see how that works out.

Hey Jared, I know why you said you were a pro welder (looky loos and "words" or advice) but brother looking at how it's coming along, you didn't have to say that. Looks umm, Professional LOL. Have fun!!

It's all stick welded, it's too windy here for mig.
In order to register it, I just have to get it weighed and the state will issue a title. Under 2000lbs light is even easier, just go in and say "I built a trailer" and they will give you a plate for it.

Well, I am finally on a semi-real computer again so I can post more pics:

And all loaded up:

Light load, just three sleds, two garden tractors and two tillers. Only about 3000lbs. I don't like the rake of my truck, though, it makes it look like the trailer tongue is bent up.

A couple more of the installed hitch in the truck:

I need to drill and install the safety chain loops still, and will before I go back to pick up the trailer. 850 miles is a bit further than I want to go without those.
