48-52 Ford F1 Stock Brake Pedal Raio

Not sure about the original ratio, but I can tell you a couple things. Original master is 1 1/16 bore. original rear cylinders are 1 1/16. I think (guess) the front was also 1 1/16 as well. Most people switching to a dual circuit end up 1" bore (1 1/16 is a[parently rare - lots of 1 and lots of 1 1/8). '72 Mustang is the common part to pick if you are going disc/drum. I stayed drum/drum and went to a master cyl from a E100 van - cardon 10-1485 (fenco M1485). are you building new pedals from scratch? If not, then there should be enough info in the forums to get you good candidates. If you are then just keep it around 6:1 or 4:1 depending on power brakes or manual.

It's for a disk/drum set up. I upgraded to 12" (technically 11-3/4") Ford truck 73-93 f-100/f-150 rotors with Chevy 71-87 1/2 ton truck calipers (kit).
I am leaning toward manual disk brakes but If my ratio is not going to give me enough pressure and volume I am going to cut out the rest of the stock cross member and install a complete new pedal assy with 7" booster for power brakes.

Here is the link to the kit I got and the instructions. In the instructions they show you the individual part numbers so you can get replacement parts. The rotors are just stock ford 73-93 f-100/f-150 so yes it still has the full size truck bolt pattern. If you go with the 5x5.5 bolt pattern you get 12" disks, if you choose a smaller bolt pattern you get 11" disks for the same price.
This Conversion Kit uses the following rotors and calipers:
ROTORS:
73-93 f-100/f-150 (or ford equivalent)
CALIPERS:
71-87 gm 1/2 ton truck (or gm equivalent)
bearings and seals:
A2 outer bearings
A13 inner bearings
4148 bearing seals
Kit
1948-56 Ford F-1 and F-100 Truck Front Disc Brake Conversion Wheel Kit 18515
Instructions
48-56 Ford F-100, Disc Brake Conversion Kit (5X5) - Performance Online, Inc
I didn't read ahead on the instructions and didn't realize I had to trim a spot on the calipers down with a grinder. Just a lip that needed to come down just a hair so it would contact the adapter bracket for the caliper. It was a very easy conversion.
